Appraisals

Jewelry Appraisals for insurance replacement, estate, or divorce settlements should not be perceived as an offer to purchase. The value of a piece of jewelry is dependent upon how and to whom the item is sold.  Our evaluation is based upon our perception of current market values at the time of the evaluation. In most cases, instead of an appraisal your receipt can be used to obtain insurance on a newly purchased piece of jewelry.  Check with your insurance company to confirm their requirements.

Custom Work

Custom designed jewelry is created for a specific client and is non-refundable and requires a 25% non-refundable deposit to begin the work. Every effort will be made to accurately manufacture the item to the client’s complete satisfaction. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client’s complete satisfaction. Any custom work not picked up within ninety (90) days from completion will result in the loss of any deposit or payments along with the loss of any of the customer’s materials used in the manufacture of the item.

In Store Exchanges and Returns

Items in original and unworn condition may be returned for full refund within ten (10) days from purchase.  Items can be exchanged for another item or store credit within thirty (30) days of purchase. Any reports, tags, boxes, and merchandising materials must be returned with the item. Closeouts, special orders, purchases from trunk shows and special events, altered pieces and custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift Cards or Store Credits are not redeemable for cash and may be used for purchases only.

Online Returns

  • Items in original, unworn and unaltered condition may be returned for a full refund within 10 days of the day you receive the package.  

  • Items can be exchanged for another item or store credit within thirty 30 days of purchase. 

  • Any reports, tags, boxes, and merchandising materials must be returned with the item. 

  • Any item that has been unset, reset, or in any other way altered by the customer is not eligible for return or exchange. 

  • Closeouts, special orders, purchases from trunk shows and special events, altered pieces and custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.

  • Gift Cards or Store Credits are not redeemable for cash and may be used for purchases only.

  • The customer must pay all return shipping and insurance costs.

Shipping Policies 

  • We offer free ground shipping via USPS, FedEx, or UPS for all orders up to $1,000. Orders above $1,000 are eligible for free 2 day shipping.

  • Orders will be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Processing occurs from 10 am - 2 pm on non-holiday business days, Orders placed after 2pm on Friday through Sunday will begin processing at the earliest on the following non-holiday business day.

  • For orders over $25,000, we will ship using USPS Registered Mail. Please note that this can take anywhere from 3-6 days, but it is the most secure option.

  • Packages will be fully insured and will require an adult signature upon delivery. The customer will be contacted in advance to be sure that they will be available to receive the package. Alternatively there is the option to have the package held at a FedEx or UPS location for no additional charge.   For packages requiring a signature you may have to receive the package at the appropriate FedEx, UPS or USPS location.

  • Please note that we can only ship to the billing address listed on the credit card used for the order.

  • Any purchase that does not meet our security guidelines will be refunded at Facet Foundry’s discretion as soon as is reasonably possible.  

  • For insurance reasons, we are unable to ship internationally.

 

Repair Work and Take In

Liability for any damage or loss of items shall be limited to the actual cost to repair or replace the item(s). This company shall not be responsible for additional work required due to the original design, craftsmanship, or worn condition of the item. Any item left for repair and not picked up after ninety (90) days from completion will be forfeited in order to cover the cost of the repair.

Special Orders

All special orders require a 50% deposit and are non-cancellable. Special orders are not refundable or exchangeable.

Watch Repair Guarantee

All watch overhauls are guaranteed for one year. There is no guarantee for moisture, bands, or crystals. Replacement of a watch battery does not guarantee function or water resistance of the watch. Battery life is guaranteed for one year. Any watch left for more than ninety (90) days from completion of repair, or quote given without response, or decline will be forfeited.
